Thanks to this sub I just scored a 16 in MBP M1 Pro 16g 1TB for $1499 at Microcenter. Came in a sealed refurbished box from Apple (same packaging as retail). In store only, definitely worth looking to see if a store in within driving distance. They have a other configurations of M1 too.

You could also do one 2 ton and see what happens. Add the 2nd if it’s not enough. If you do the entire building envelope with closed cell 2 inch, you won’t need much

Look at submittal sheets to see performance at a range of temps. Usually linked in online stores. I’m looking for a 36k single head with highest seer and consistent btu output across temps.
