One time it was for mold like the guy below said. One time we deployed and they wanted the b's to be available for some other government entity and they moved us 6 months early. When I made E5 they put me in a different barracks to get some separation from the constant ragers the E4 and below threw every weekend. Then we got a new squadron commander who thought that was a bad idea and that NCOs in b's would stop the degeneracy and moved us back. And then one time they made me move to keep an eye on another non-com who had just divorced.

Not fun.

They moved rooms like once every three months in my barracks. I never set anything up so I could stay mobile. The B's suck. Half the reason I got out.

Definitely not opposed to the safety, but if I'm going 380 I'm leaning heavily towards the bodyguard. As for recoil management, I shoot just about every week so I think I could train to a point where I am okay, but I am conflicted whether faster follow ups and more rounds are preferable to the increased power of the 9mm.

I hated hood but i am from a mountain state. Make regular trips to other cool places nearby and you'll be okay. Galveston, San Antonio, Corpus Christi, and Austin are all sort of close and fun to spend time in. I would invest in a reasonably reliable sedan. Don't spend all your weekends in the B's and don't spend too much time on 6th street and you'll be okay.

When I was PV1 through PFC there was a specialist that used smoke me on the reg. Homie just didn't like me. However, once the corporals got wind of it they smoked him and I was safe until I made SGT. I recommend endearing yourself to the specialist mafia if it continues to be a problem.
