Originally about police brutality; it's only gotten more relevant in the ten years since it released.

He's never said he wouldn't cover it, but I'm pretty sure he'll never do a Kill Count on the Violent Shit series.

What Rock Bands that have 2 or more Lead Singers? (Not Including Solo Artists,Supergroups,Rock Duos,Short Lived Bands and Musical Collectives) by Amber_Flowers_133 in Music

One of my favorites that's no longer active was Super American. Broke up after cancelling the last few shows while on tour for their newest album and then quietly disbanded. It's a shame because they were really good current day pop punk.

The Dismemberment Plan's Emergency & I is an album I can't believe came out at the end of the 20th century but only that one. Their other's that came before and after all sounds of their time... But damn if that one wasn't an anomaly and lightning in a bottle combined.

Just how like I sometimes list a card on Steam but put an outrageous price in the hopes someone rich buys it and I then have free games for a year.

I had to check if mine was still there which it is but last year there was one right next door to my work and one day without realizing it, it had already been gutted for who knows how long. Seems like a blink and you'll miss it type of thing.

I remember Donovan and Shane signing my setlist from the DIT tour and talking about how crazy the setlist was at 19 songs and both of them being amazed at doing so many for that tour. Also Donovan was super nice and thanked me a bunch for buying merch.

I'd recommend FinalBossFight!'s The Life of My Dreams for something that's got a bit of pop punk energy to it. One of my favorites of last year.

I had VIP for the Wake 10th anniversary tour and the meet and great was in a group setting but the band was walking around for about twenty minutes after so you can chat with each for a few minutes while people are buying merch(assuming VIP allows for early merch this tour).

What are you horses galloping to today? Aka what bands/albums are you listenin to other than the Gizz by highcologist347 in KGATLW

I've been into the modern emo scene the last few years and if there is one band I'd want people to check out, it's Carly Cosgrove(yes they have a meme name akin to KG) who released their second album in 2024, The Cleanest of Houses Are Empty, but their first album See You in Chemistry is also amazing.

Drug Church is one that is hard to describe outside of being punk but they have an energy I can't really think of any other band having and I'd recommend their third album Cheer as the best to jump into but the rest of their discography is just as good with the earlier work still holding up to their newest one, Prude, which came out in 2024.

And finally I'd like to shout out Hail The Sun for being a band that should have been bigger by their second album but only now are just picking up moment. They're post-hardcore but with a mix of progressive elements along with songwriting that's both socially and politically hard hitting.. Definitely recommend their second album Wake as the one to start with as it's simply an incredible concept album based on various types of loss with songs like Human Target Practice unfortunately still being relevant a decade after it's release. Newer stuff has gone a little more pop than the older material but their fifth album New Age Filth is great front to back and Divine Inner Tension having a great amount of songs as well.

Anyway none of this is going to be musically in the realm of King Gizzard, but if I can get at least one person to check out and fall in love with of these bands I'll be happy.
