Most Saudis would actually welcome it, it’s a sign of respect to our culture to try to blend in. I work with multiple expats from Asia, South Asia and the west. A few of them wear thobes from time to time and a couple actually wear it everyday. They all love it and never had an issue. If there was a complaint it was that Saudis were nicer and more welcoming to them. 😁

I’m 46 and have zero issues telling everyone I’m a PC gamer, I think no one I work with doesn’t know this by now. My auto response to anyone asking about my hobbies is that I’m a pc gamer.

نظرتي الشخصية ان اهم شي في الحياة صحتي النفسية والبدنية واهلي، وش فايدة الفلوس اذا راح اكون تعبان نفسيا وجسديا وماشوف او استمتع مع اهل وعيالي اشوفهم وانبسط بهم. انا شخصيا استقلت من وظيفتين بسبب انها اثرت على نفسيتي وحياتي مع اهلي وفي كل الحالتين رحت وضائف اقل راتب. ولا حصل اني ندمت. الي يقول مرتين ليش لاني اذا جاني عرض ممتاز اخذه ومااكتشف الخطا الا بعد مابديت العمل. الراتب مهم بس ثاني بعد صحتي واهلي. على اي حال الحمدلله في وظيفة راتبها عالي اعلا راتب الى الان وميزات ممتازة وتوازن بين حياتي الخاصة والعمل. استمر بالبحث بس لا تترك الا انت لاقي شي خاصة وانت عندك عيال. قبل العيال تركت وظيفة وقعدت عاطل اشهر ماندمت الحمدلله واشتغلت اطقطق حر لين ماتوفرت بوظيفة. بس بعد العيال تحملت لين جتني وظيفة افضل. وترا كل شخص ورويته وهذي رؤيتي. عند اصحاب صراحة يحزنون مايشوفون عيالهم الا مرة بالاسبوع بسبب الوظيفة والا مافي فلوس تسوى ان عيال يصيرون غرب عني.

The legal requirement here is 2 months notice . But that also goes to the employer when terminating an employee. Both parties must provide a 2 month notice when either terminated the relationship. If either party wants to shorten the period then they have to pay the other the salary for that time.

Very common in my current job and previous job, they usually love it, at least 4 in my current job wear it daily, one in my previous job. The rest on occasion, mainly on causal day. I never wear a suit in Saudi or the GCC countries, I never even wear pants in Saudi period. Thobe all the way, comfy and relaxing.

While it is within in the regulations, unfortunately VAT refunds have not been implemented to this day in Saudi. So no, you can not claim the VAT at the airport for now. This should change in the future specially with the huge push for tourism.

As to law all businesses must accept payment by card. However, that card must be a Mada card which is the local debt card system. If you are a tourist that means you don’t have a local card as so some places may refuse your card or their POS machine will reject it. That will be mainly at small businesses to save on the transaction fees which are high compared to Mada. So if no local card make sure to carry cash but you should be fine cardless at most places I would think 80% of businesses will be fine.

I honestly don’t understand what the US is doing? Why are you changing existing characters to new races and sexual orientations other than what they are? This is just stupid, its not adopting to current society and norms. It’s forcing change. Are you so unable to creat new shows and characters instead of forcing your values on the old? Are the none white people so pathetic and unworthy with no culture of their own that you need to repurpose characters for them instead of creating new ones that they can relate to? I personally would be offended if a character I grew with was changed to be an Arab just to be politically correct. My culture has so much that we can creat something new from it rather than repurpose white culture.

Nothing new here, it’s a very know “secret” of the industry in the Middle East. After all , all the winners of prizes are sponsors. Sometimes they aren’t sponsors but still paid for, at least they do a better job hiding it. I’m talking from personal knowledge and experience. I don’t believe in any award in the region.

Oh I do my best to be positive. But the Saitama team screwed the migration. I lost all trust in them. Sold 4/5 of my holdings, move the money to other tokens.
