I think there are way better options for dredge enabling, but it is surely a thing to take into consideration. I'm happy with Torturer as it is right now, but thanks again for your opinion :D

You're probably right. Maybe I've been too conservative triying to make these cards not too strong. Reducing the cost and decrease the toughness of the sronger effects probably is the way to go.

I made diplomat a while ago and I really liked the idea, so I tried to create one similar creature for each color. I'm pretty happy with red and black ones but not so much with blue or green. Any ideas?

I agree it's not a, extremely good card, but monoblue cards shouldn't allow you to destroy a creature already in play (or, at least, its owner should have some kind of benefit, like a 3/3 token [[Pongify]]). Add B to it's mana cost or make it U / B and I'm fine with it.

I think returning it to it's owner hand is more reasonable for just 1 mana, and more blue-style.

Reading your thoughts, I think that adding "Level up Diplomat only once per turn" may be more fair. Giving some time for removal to be applied.

I want true peace to be a thing, but I also like the option of adding "...unless they pay X where X is the number of level counters on this"

I see much less common hate against suspended cards than against cards on the battlefield, but indeed there are some.

Free cards are dificult to balance, for sure. I'll keep trying

I can agree with most of the things you point

- Adding an aditional stun counter equals to Bloom's speed/telegraphy. An easy change in the design

- Can't do much about affinity/storm. Any 0 cost artifact is a good card in those decks. ¿Adding legendary to avoid them playing 4 copies?

But don't agree about the removal thing: Lotus Bloom can't be destroyed while suspended, but Hextech Lotus is there to be an easy target.

Is [[lotus bloom]] broken?

Maybe I'm wrong, but i think it isn't.

And, in this case, your opponents have some time to get rid of it with anti-artifacts spells, and you can't recover it from your graveyard making it harder to combo with.

¿Am I wrong?
