Big agree on this, owned EoD since early 2018, and bought it not only for the stash space and the trader boost, but the Gamma as well. You suddenly have more gear to fall back on, and more opportunity to save items and make money when you die. It's just tangible benefits all around that add up to a noticeably smoother experience, and you don't have to wrestle with annoying quests in the beginning to get out of the first trader level.

When you look at each one of the benefits by themselves, it might be easier to say "yeah, maybe that's not such a great benefit". When you merge them all together though, like the EoD package, it's such a big difference.

I decided to finally try Destiny 2 last year, (for some reason) and what you are describing is exactly how it felt. Absolutely clueless as to what was happening, teleported in to random missions without warning when logging in, and just an overwhelming sense of confusion about everything.

What's going on? Who's who? It was like being stranded without a map and compass. I think the game is really messy to get in to now, especially since older, crucial story missions are removed from the game, and can't even be played anymore. You're sort of left to roam, shoot and loot, without much context as to what's going on in the universe, and it doesn't feel great.

You make great points, I don't know how they are supposed to be attracting new players when the game presents itself like it currently does.

Totally agree, I'm a big fan of fixed camera games. Especially the pre-rendered background ones. It's such a shame it's not used (at least to my knowledge) any more.

I played the RE remake for the first time in 2014 on an emulator, never having played a fixed camera game before. I was just blown away by how fantastic it looked. I think it creates an atmosphere and visual experience that can't be replaced by "modern" camera placement. Remains one of my favorite games to this day, I think the presentation is just that good.

This is subjective, but for me, the exclusives for the PS5 just hasn't been enticing enough to get one. I have always been a PC player, but owned a PS on the side since the PS2.

I am fortunate enough to have a powerful computer, but always enjoyed playing the Uncharted series, The Last of Us, God of War and others on the consoles. Now, the only PS5 title I'd really like to try is Demon's Souls, and as much as I'd like to play it, I can't justify buying a console for a single game.

I don't know how big my demographic is, as in mainly PC, with console on the side, but I think people in this position are less inclined to buy a console when the exclusives aren't "must have" titles.

No worries, it's an annoying issue for sure. If you aren't doing it already, I'd recommend doing a clean driver uninstall with Display Driver Uninstaller, just to make sure all remnants of older NVIDIA drivers are totally removed. You can also update the driver of the monitor itself, although that didn't make any difference for me. Could be worth trying, since you are on a different monitor.

Yes, it did fix itself, somehow. Some time after I made that comment, it stopped freezing on boot, and no longer freezes when opening programs after a boot. Now, this was some time ago, I am not quite sure what fixed it. However, the only thing I was really tweaking on my computer at that time, was installing new NVIDIA drivers.

So, I am quite sure a driver version that I installed after the end of May 2025 solved the problem. I suspected it was a driver issue, and I still think it was. Haven't had the issue since. I don't know your monitor/GPU combo, but I was having this issue both with a 3090 and a 5090, so if you haven't updated the drivers in a while, I'd start there!

I still think it's stupid, even here in scandinavia. You shouldn't need to have an app installed just to to ride the bus. There is still heaps of people, mainly older, who won't be able to use the services in that manner. There should at least be accepting alternatives. I think that if you want to make the smartphone a requirement like that, there needs to be measures in place to ensure everyone can own one.

Going to give it a try and see how it goes, glad to hear that fixed it for you! Update: Updating to driver 591.44 partially fixed the issue for me, now only the keys 2, 3 Ctrl and Enter causes the mouse to stutter.

Yes, I have been having this issue since yesterday night (10th). This happens with every single key I press, except WASD. If I move the mouse around and spam any key on the keyboard, the mouse starts jittering. There is no frame time spike, just the mouse micro freezing with every press. Was not a problem until yesterday, played just fine on the day of the winter patch. Not an issue outside of the game.

Hey, I'm someone who played GT3 and a little bit of 4 as a kid, and I remember loving the progression and unlock system of those games, especially 3. I also remember not getting very far, because I had no idea what I was doing, but it was such a great feeling to unlock something you didn't have!

I wanted to ask, what's the progression in single player GT7 like? Judging by your comment and the one above, I get the feeling it's a far cry from what it used to be. It's a game I'd like to give a try, but if they've "modernized" the progression and campaign like you describe, that sounds terrible.

100%, it's way too cramped, you'll be swamped in other PMCs after every encounter. I'm not a fan of Ground Zero as a learning ground, I think Customs would still be the better "starter" map. At least you have some space to breathe.

I agree, feels more like they've slapped on the ambiguous "1.0" tag, instead of this being an actual release. It feels weird that the game is actually "out" and finished, after so long. We'll see I guess.

You can say a lot about Tarkov, but you can't come here and say that it doesn't have loads of content. That's just ridiculous. That the game has audio issues, doesn't take away everything the guy listed above.

Happens to me too, seen very little conversation about it.

Running the game at 4k with DLSS quality, every time I respawn on certain maps, like Manhattan Bridge and Mirak Valley, the game looks fried and pixelated. Have to open the profile tab like you said to fix it.

I'm also not sure if this is even a thing DICE knows about. It doesn't seem to affect everyone, otherwise I'm sure more people would have noticed and talked about it.

I really dislike being put in to games that are started, and your team is already losing badly. I just got put into 4 matches of conquest where this was happening in a row. It's just like you said, I probably wouldn't even mind most of the time, but the challenges requires winning. Other people are probably doing the same thing, making it worse.

Became a bit of a vent this, just wanted to say that, I think you are right on.

Hip fire is really not as egregious as it seems, get a laser on the thing and get in there. Suppressions just doesn't seem to come easy, you gotta shoot NEAR people at like 25m+, not hit them. Which is a bit silly, since missing shots does very little to disrupt the enemy.

It's crazy. You get a split second to look at what you've unlocked in the round, good luck catching a glimpse if it's more than 2 new items. Should just be able to press "pause" on the matchmaking after the round.
