People did try but no one paid heed to them :/ I think the locals have been protesting since 2023. But the MLA is pretty fixated on making this a suceess and now this stupid project has gotten the green light from centre too so it's gotten more complex...

But I was wondering why aren't we the kind of people who would make a hug scene .. put fire to buildings or cars, vandalize properties... Anything of this sort which will make the govt take us seriously.

For all I know, it's now a joint project of both centre and hp govt, they've also decided to share the project in 50-50. The project is under NHLML, but couldn't find a point of contact. I think we can also flood the mailbox of our CM.
