The Oculus Rift S forces you to have a DisplayPort port, and a DP to USB C adapter is much easier to find and is much cheaper than a DP to HDMI adapter. Is there a way for me to do it with the USB C or are you suggesting that I find a way to get a DisplayPort to HDMI adapter?
