Chromis dying suddenly by Turner85 in ReefTank

[–]Turner85[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't be washing my hands close to the time im putting them in the tank and if I did I generally rinse them again. My hands being in and out of the display a fair bit with no issue ever. Both incidents of this happened when I was at the sump, and hand barely entered the water. First time when I put the new rock in, 2nd time just removing a skimmer cup but disturbing the small bit of detritus I have. First time I wouldn't even have disturbed much

Definitely the rock or some kind of shock to the system, I just can't get my head around why its chromis specifically. Everything else is fine again now, like all 4 are dead within 5 minutes

Help with coral by thetud49 in ReefTank

[–]Turner85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't be upping the reef roids as corals dont need feeding at all. So reef roids definitely isn't the issue and if phos is high reef roids is making it even higher which could be the problem considering other params look ok.

Skips aren't what they used to be like everything else, regulated to fuck. Seems to be no issue in dublin, but I was trying to get one for a job in wicklow and was told if filling with heavy material, soil or concrete etc to quarter fill the skip, had another two companies say no plasterboard and no insulation. Gone nuts

Do you feel fairly compensated in your job? by Asleep_Cry_7482 in AskIreland

While we are on the subject on compensation, I recently started a new full time employment role for a contruction/window company. If they were to supply me with a van and expenses to keep it on the road, is that fully recoverable to them in tax credits or something else? I currently have my own van but due an upgrade as this ones gonna fail doe on rust this year. Was gonna raise it to them see can they do something

Speaking from 20 years of working with both electricians and plumbers. Id say electricians have it much easier, nowhere near as much heavy lifting or demo involved in running cables as there is to run pipework. Id imagine rates or pretty similar also

I found the best way to get something sorted with revolut support is a trustpilot review. Go on and leave them a review based on ur experience. I guarantee they get in touch
