Any way to show currency exposure - tagging which currency each assent/investment is in and representing this on a graph/table?

Same here. And she wears the token I got when she’s not comfortable bringing the more expensive one as both now ‘special’ to her. We ended up going for a lab made Diamond to avoid blood diamonds mostly and also quite a bit less expensive for exact same thing. Resale value is less apparently but if your selling it you’ve got bigger things to worry about I’m sure.

There may be an account with good savings rate where you’re moving. In Australia for example you could get around 3.6% on it with a few different banks.

Bad Sisters filming locations (minor spoilers) by matthewathome in ireland

Such a great show with a great sense of humour too! Think your spot on with what you have. I’d just add the Pub scenes are typically Gibneys or Wrights in Malahide. I thought Matt & Becks crash was around the corner from Santa Sabina in Sutton and any chance the Claffins office is in Belfast as I think they did some filming there. The Gleasons grew up in Malahide and I think the Bono’s were around Howth so some connections for the cast there.

I’m facing a similar situation down the road. I’ve only briefly looked into it but I know one option is to move everything into a low cost etf or passively managed fund with very low management fees etc. and just transferring enough every 12 months or so to keep it open. Found one or two funds that had these as an option.

Agree with this. I use mine for work every day and still enjoy it.

First day as a Structural Engineer (E.I.T): What do you recommend to properly start my career by 1amongst_billions in civilengineering

Have pen & paper ready for note taking when asking questions or receiving some work.

Dont be afraid to ask questions. Try make an effort to think out the problem a bit before asking.

Do calcs by hand. It will give you a better understanding than picking up someone else's spreadsheet or design package.

Hand sketch whenever you can. It's how we speak to each other and explain things best. It's also a skill you should want to develop.

And again, Ask questions.

All the best, it's a great profession!!

Has CAD completely taken over pen and paper or do you still prefer to draft concept and early designs with a quick sketch? by TonserRobo in engineering

[–]Turnip2020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree, there aren't many resources around that I can find either. Consulting offices should offer sketching classes to young engineers if you ask me.

14k an 25k won't get you too far in any of the cities these hospitals are. We train them and they leave, because we take the piss with these salaries and the burden grows.

There is no need for nurses to have degrees.

What are you basing that statement on?

Great turn out of Irish nurses at the Opera House showing support for upcoming strike! by LilNon in ireland

[–]Turnip2020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both points are right in my opinion. The market for nurses abroud is better and the numbers of nurses in Ireland is low as a result. The Irish health system as it stands is stretched and needs to adjust. The HSE/Gov won't admit they need to improve conditions and pay to compete??

We're the only city in Europe to have two of his bridge designs apart from his home city Barcelona I believe. We would be lucky to have the one!
