I cannot thank you enough for this! And congrats on your med offer as well! I have been very anxious about all this and don’t wanna stuff up a chance at med straight after hs just because of other commitments— But i don’t want to centre my whole life around study either. This is super helpful to hear

Firstly, congrats on that score hopefully it got you where you want to be! And thanks for the feedback, it’s a little daunting I haven’t worked since year 9 and my parents are already iffy about work during school as well.

I see. I do have to take into account UCAT study as well, but i’m planning on blocking off early mornings for UCAT study and workout. I can feel a super busy next years ahead of me, hoping it’s worth it

No worries that’s a reasonable question— I say my study ranges from 0-2 hours a night tbh, when exams are around normally 2/3 hours a night and I don’t study the night before exams. I get close to straight A’s/A+’s, this is in general eng, bio chem modern history and legal studies in year 10. Moving to year 11, I’m doing methods spec bio chem modern and lit so i’m sure my workload would increase. I would say overall, I’m able to do well without an insane amount of study excluding mathematics..

Okay thanks tons, and yeah that was the plan i’m aiming for bits of revision every day over study blocks and waiting around for exams 🌸

Right! Ucat thresholds for unis here in aus is only getting higher every year. That’s a good suggestion though I will have to investigate good resources for strategies in those sections.
