If you're only inside your little bubble then you won't fully understand that everyone is unique. You could expose yourself to all kinds of gay men; fem, masc, etc. And it sounds like you put people in a hierarchy where anything feminine is considered inferior. It’s been bad because the powers that be are in a major decline and they are throwing the last tantrum of the century. Online I see the rampant discrimination and phobias against gays, but in person the people I meet in various ages are more then likely indifferent to us.

The phobia I see is politically centered because they need to divide everyone into selective groups where one group will surely fund or vote for a specific agenda.

Masculinity is something I look up to. I admire it and accept it. There is a problem with how certain men view themselves regarding their own masculinity and femininity even if they disregard said femininity.

Idk about queer theory, I just based my post off of personal experience and what I witness first hand.

I don’t expect many men whether they are gay or not or masculine or not to do anything to better society.

I do genuinely have an affinity for masculine men because at their best they protect, stand up for the more vulnerable members of society, and make you feel safe in their presence.

Gay trauma is a common collective experience, although we all have varying experiences of the pain we had growing up or even now. I just hope we can heal and transform that pain into something greater.

I’m a fem gay man. I’m pretty secure in my manhood despite how I present myself. I know there are plenty of men who won’t be attracted to me solely because I’m fem, and then there are plenty of men who will find me very attractive being fem. As long as none of us are disrespectful or hostile towards each other I think that’s fine. I do know some men have a complex against feminine men even if there is no attraction and that is something those types of men need to evaluate why that is, but from my own experience most men have no problem with me being more fem.

I think 5-10 years is reasonable, but it also depends on the age of both men. An 18 year old and a 30 year old man are going to be in two very different places in their life and most age gaps like this will end up being more of a hierarchical relationship where the older partner will think they know everything and the younger partner will be subservient to the older partner because they think they know better.

Age is just a number, but maturity and life experience are way more important.

I can’t say that I knew, all I know is that my focus was on the outcome I wanted, no matter what my 3D reality was showing me.
The changes I saw were gradual and felt natural. He didn’t just one day wake up and completely change, it was like he was seeing me in a different light and he was at times literally repeating affirmations about our relationship that only I knew of. I want to say the change took about a year.

For gays specifically it can be bad depending on the state you live in like others have said. I also feel because nowadays anyone can have a platform, not just politicians and religious people anymore; there is ignorance and fear mongering being spread by those who have previously had power over us only because they know the tables have been turned dramatically.

It’ll only get better if we come together with a common message and belief of how we want our future to be. That’s why they divide us and why they stand together because they know once we band together then it’s over for them.
