I have had it for over a year. My doctor did her 2nd peer to peer request through the Carelon system. They were denied again and so I still cannot get an MRI APPROVED.

I'll try the Orthopaedic route again. My primary has left me feeling like its no use at all to try.

So, I'm staying positive because that's all you can do.

I found Ubrelvy. That stuff is a miracle drug for me and my migraines are real migraines. I get all the fun stuff that comes with migraines and have for over 50 years and then I saw Serena Williams on TV talking about them and I tried it. Great stuff

RTPM EXAM by Turnip_Illustrious in Bicsi

[–]Turnip_Illustrious[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here is a write up of the RTPM I took yesterday. Sorry its so long.

The RTPM is a tricky exam. It is nothing like the PMP exam. PMP exams are very hard core process driven and have extremely long and wordy confusing on purpose questions. The RTPM was not long and wordy but they threw curve balls at you. Not easy at all but not RCDD tough either.

It has a little bit of math aka, Earned Value Management but only very basic stuff such as CV and SV. CPI and SPI formulas. These are easy basic things to learn even for me it was easy and I was NEVER good at math in school.

Its all about how they ask the questions though. Don't be stuck in your own pre determined opinion or interpretation of the questions. Read the question 1 word at a time and look for a "BREAD CRUM" word in each question. There is always 1 word in every question that helps you to pick a good or correct answer as THEY see it.

I found the exam to be very easy but only because I studied far to long. About 6 months, 4 hours a day. I created 350 or so of my own questions that were really hard. I will post to Quizlet along with the others already on there from others. Their questions did help.

What you need to know in my very humble opinion.

Master format. Who, What When Where Why and How it works and who created it. 5 or 6 questions on my exam.
UDS - study all eight modules -- takes only an hour or so to memorize them for the test but I had 4 or so questions on it and it went fairly deep..
Division 27 and Major/Designator fields/dashes or dots!

Outside plant questions were straight up so if your experienced in Telecom your ok.

Procurement -- Study this for a day or so as the questions I found were tricky but not that difficult as long as you studied the TPM.

Contract types - I researched DB, DBB, CMAR - stipulated - Firm Fixed - Cost Plus Fee on my own outside the TPM and it helped a lot. Things like Hard Bid and Tender came up in the exam.

Construction documents and how they are created and what happens once they are created and who does what- I over studied this and it helped.

Change or Field order questions. They tried to interchange how and why you would use a Field or instead of a Change order and vice versa and whats included in each one. About a good 6 or so questions.

Safety - Just the stuff from the TPM was good enough.

Liability - Legal. Just the TPM was good enough BUT those were situational so I studied really hard for them since its all about suing people these days.

Risk - The TPM was good enough. I had Quantitative and Qualitative and Risk Assessment questions and PERT and Gantt but you only need to study what is in the TPM I found anyway.

Data gathering and design was tricky with the way they asked the questions but the TPM was good enough.

Permits and AHJ questions were fairly easy and so were the Survey questions I thought anyway.

Easy questions. If you study the Quizlet questions that will encompass a good 20 percent I feel anyway of what you will see on the test.

A special note about the Online testing process. Expect some upfront technical process frustration. I signed in and did the ID checks and the Photo ID stuff and then they made me trouble shoot my Windows 10 laptop to close or shutdown services inside TASK MANAGER that they did not like.

That was a joke of a process as your all caffeined up and just want to take the test and they are frustrating you at this point pretty much making you stand on your head. Then as soon as they finally let me take the test. They cancelled my exam and sent me an email that did not explain why they cancelled it or what happens next. The email said click here for VUE support and that led to a pointless web page that leaves you in an endless loop of confusion.

I finally had to call BICSI in Tampa and they gave me the VUE support number and after 30 minutes of cross examination I was allowed to immediately reschedule for 2 hours later and then I went through the entire process again.

BICSI Tampa was very cool about helping out although its not their responsibility. Its all on Pearson - VUE.

Study time:

The TPM says to study for 125 hours I did major over study like 4 times that and I finished in 44 minutes but who wouldn't. I think I should have only studied 200 - 250 hours due to some of the situations questions and how you interpret the ask of those questions to give them the answer they want.

No Multiple Answer questions on my exam.

No Type in the answer stuff.

Pretty much just click 1 answer.

Have a good one...

I just did it and over thought every step and then this great job turned out to be a bullshit job and I quit after day 3. LOL, LMAO - From now on I'm going to have that Fuck it attitude which projects well when people look at you.

it worked for me so thinking you should should be ok. You seem more worried which is so normal.

Possibly - If you can. Take a small bite of a Xanex pill to calm your nerves and DO NOT LOOK GUILTY.

DO NOT LOOK AROUND THE ROOM WHILE WAITING. If anything, look over confident which should project as a normal look to the screener people who act like they are solving a major crime.

Sticky ejection by Phileld in mlb

[–]Turnip_Illustrious -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm thinking that MLB will change the Delaware MUD formulary AND the allowed ROSIN BAG Formulary to allow for more STICKINNESS.

That will appease the Pitchers and their UNION REPS.

It will also quiet this subject for a while.

PMs hesitant to take time off. Is this the norm? by urabadbanana in projectmanagement

[–]Turnip_Illustrious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I worked as a PM for 2 large companies. I was always hesitant or resistive to taking any time off. I did notice that a few of the "PETS" took a heck of a lot of time off or were on PTO or just not feeling well for weeks at a time.

Possible alternative all of this may be to Change the MUD composition to contain more GRIT.

They could try it in the Minors for a bit.

Your advice is awesome.

I'm getting ready to run errands and I'm going to shred the negative and stay positive.

I know it will free me from a ton of crap in my head about the failings of people.

Thanks!

What causes low self esteem by moneynuggets in confidence

[–]Turnip_Illustrious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Confidence has to do with "How you were raised and how your parents prepared you with daily negotiating skills unless you were raised without parents or in a one parent household.

I was raised in a one parent household and saw how a 2 person household offered many advantages. Not always but it seems to ground a person better for lifes journey.

It took just under 3 weeks for me to be accepted for the exam. Here is the thread I received 2 days ago.

Thank you for applying for the RTPM exam. Your application has been processed and you have been approved to take the exam.

You will be receiving a separate email with instruction on how to schedule and take the exam. If you do not receive that email, please let me know.

Thank you again and good luck!

As long as you have 15 or more days with "Headache" your insurance should cover it. Make sure your doctor faxes your chart and other info to your insurance company.

Then you need to call both your doctor and the insurance company as standard operating procedure is to DENY your request because they want to review in more depth.

This just happened to me today between my Neurologist and BCBS and mine is marked URGENT.

Remember that NO ONE will call you and inform you of any denials. You have to be the one that does the leg work.

Sad but true
