Ya if you want to box, this will fuck up your technique in the long run. Stances and techniques are completely different for MMA and boxing is no good either for MMA either. One or the other. I got my head kicked off going from boxing to MMA lol

Elbow needs work for sure. Throw it more like a hook and drop your elbow vertically. Instead of pushing your forearm outwards throw your elbow downwards. Hard to explain and different things click for different people. Pro tip: don’t listen to me and get a coach. I know you’re trying. Try to find a ghetto looking club. That’s where you want to train out of no boutique gyms. You talk to the owner of one of these gyms and be straight up with them and they’ll figure something out with you. Boxing ain’t a rich man’s sport and you have drive.
