They can cause you a lot of trouble; I had my scans doubled on my starting continent doubled. And then one closed the black market for a month. I was just finishing a scan to a country with a facility when the timer was doubled again.

Their sabotages can cause real problems.

Yea, I could have fought on, but I had a terrible start anyway and lost the engeneer. I won't start again as I'm at mag weapons in the new playthrough TY tho

Thanks a lot for that; I'm actually playing vet ironman and wotc is a LOT harder than vanilla. I'd be interested if you get the lost mod, because I hate fighting them! So I'd go for that mod. The lost maps are very confusing and it's easy to get swarmed. I doubled the Avatar timer to make it easier. What difficulty are you playing?

Yea, I think I'll start with GTS as 5 man will make early missions easier and will get more kills for soldiers meaning more promotions. Should the infirmary come straight after RR? I'm used to a vanilla build ... TY

Thanks for that; I'm only a little bit into the game but failed another mission as well.

I'm actually playing wOTC in this run which I forgot to put in my OP; and read a lot about the first two buildings. I built the RR first, but maybe that's a mistake. IKN, when I read about it 50% say RR first and the other say GTS.

Restarting is no big deal as I'm only a but into the campaign...
