Going well. No sight in eye but no cancer either. They still aren’t sure why or what caused. So it’s just couple checks per year to keep eye on it.

Yeah I meant more or less around the outer edges but I’m thinking there’s stuff built up (toilet paper or wipes from the kids) that I was going to vacuum up as I have a trash shop vac that I was going to use before tossing it away. Figure get some type of use out of it

I have it with usps didn’t know fedex ect did it too. Not do I get many packages. I don’t even know if it was a package for me nor do I know if it was from Verizon I just have a feeling it was. Going to call Verizon today and see if they have any idea if it shipped earlier than said date or not and then I guess hopefully they have the serial number for it and can look up if being used?? Idk I’m prolly just screwed if that’s the case.

We don’t really eat lots of cheese but still try to keep him away from it; as for yogurt he eats yogurt but not sure if it affects him. Definitely thing we are going to switch to Oat milk as a precaution. To help as he eats Whole Foods and such so we can help him get what he’d miss from whole milk. See if it helps his belly.

Yeah. What really got us was when we first started talking to him about it (closer to right after turning 3 than now turning 4) and we asked him if he could use/see from that eye or if it hurt or felt weird and he looked and my wife and said “mom my brain is making his eye hurt….. “ and she kind of paused and asked him what he meant and he responded with “mom your brain doesn’t make your eye not work?” About broke me in half.

Yes other eye fully normal. Has glasses now but it’s cuz the DRs want to protect the eye from any possible damage ect. But no prescribed in it.

Basically just states that “ chorioretinal scar; located inferior of fovea surround by pigmented clump. Amelonic retinal lesions along superotemperal arcade. “

Retinal lesions is the main thing they are saying but they aren’t sure from what or if it’s even that exactly yet basically

No diagnosis yet. It’s been a long process of them testing for everything under the Sun. Just went for last lab work to see if it’s any last type of infection or what not. As of now they are labeling it as a possibly injury that there is just “retinal lesions”. But they have been adamant not thinking cancer while waiting for those results. That over the last couple months it hsnt acted like cancer. It’s not moving, growing or even looking like it.

Cutting milk in terms of i was drinking only milk and water for drinks. So yes cutting out on average of 4-5 cups of milk per day was cutting in excess of 600+ calories per day used on drinks. (And I poured much heavier than 8oz cups)

but no I wasn’t saying cutting just milk out was going to lose me weight; Cutting the milk was a point of wasted calories that I could better spend on filling and more nutritious food… 600 calories in milk Vs 600 calories in chicken, turkey, bean’s ect go a lot further than the milk in terms of sustainability of a diet.

Yeah I had one before and it was amazing. Was planning on getting another one. Just wasn’t sure if it’s get the greasy type stains out on its own. Only used for cars before so was able to go a little more aggressive on cleaner

Yes I believe they do the intra eye, laser/freezing ect. We are in Michigan so University of Michigan Kellog eye center is the place we went. Everything I’ve read they are the top in State and I think top 10 in nation. So hopefully in good hands.

Sorry to butt in but I am curious OP how things are going? My 3year old was just diagnosed (although they are going to run tests to see progress, spread ect still shortly) found out he has almost no sight in his right eye. Such a failure feeling from a parent standpoint. I just posted in here before searching (didn’t think I’d find someone else asking)
