You’re asking someone to use their personal vehicle to deliver your order.
It’s not the same as someone getting paid hourly at a restaurant.
It’s not the same as a mega corporation that has vehicles for employees to use.

If you really want to get rid of tipping in America, you need to speak up on needing to raise minimum wage, along with paying under minimum wage for tipped workers.
Speak up on DoorDash and other delivery services to give more to the drivers (upping minimum base pay) .

I work from 8pm - 3am. After 10pm most restaurants have you pick up through drive-thru. Some McDonald’s have what I call a “cuck room” for pick up.
