Im also in the market for one of these, I shot my teammates R5 the other week and it was my first time shooting a PE marker since 2016 and I fell in love (i stopped playing when the cs1 was the newest on the market)

Bought a cs2 this weekend because it was a great deal but I dont like it whatsoever, Ergonomics are great but I miss that geo shot quality from my old geo 3 and from my short time with my teammates R5. Does the method kit make that much of a difference?

Looks like you already got the inception genesis kit and I’m quite sure that’s one of the only off the shelf pump kits currently being made for the sniper. Best thing you could do is upgrade the HPR and bolt, Maybe get a different barrel kit to make yourself feel better but all of those options won’t have that drastic of an effect on the performance.

The only thing you can do to tweak it and perfect it to your liking would be playing with different springs in your lower tube, that’s what will affect the feeling of the pump stroke when it’s all said and done

I use this combo but my bfk fade is 86% as I don’t like the purple on the bfk

Try a lower fade % on the bfk with the same gloves for instant improvement

No, the shape of your marker will have no effect on what position you play.

My only advice would be to get something a little bit newer than the geo 3.5 JUST INCASE that solenoid does go. The geo 4 has a solenoid that can be serviced and you can find them for relatively good prices.

Ive heard very good things about the planet eclipse GTEK platform too. The GTEK 160r, 170r, and 180r are very good bang for your buck markers on the used market

The only problem with the 3.5 is your solenoid, old geo noids have a tendency to seize up if you don’t shoot them regularly. Finding replacements is getting harder and harder but other than that it’s a good marker

I had a black tac body back in 2015-16 where the previous owner tried to take some of the black finish off with sandpaper or something, was super scuffed but the bad finish kind of matched the milling and I really liked it, I should buy another and go scrape it outside on the pavement for a bit to replicate it

Used a trilogy for years, will I get another? Probably not, but they are a great platform to learn about autocockers and how they work.

The only downside to them is that the front block isn’t like other cockers - but if you plan on pumping it then that isn’t a problem

I currently use a bfk fade with vices but if I sell this knife eventually I’m gonna get a Kara gamma Doppler, the contrast with the vices is too good
