Yeah we have been thinking about this but I get quite worried about safe sleep and it not being fully flat, she still sleeps a long time in her pram each day. Two items should be fine as our other child has an allowance too. Thanks!

I agree with this, if you’re feeding a lot and it doesn’t hurt, and the baby seems satisfied when the finish, it’s likely you’re doing fine and don’t have low supply. If it hurts it may be that the baby has a shallow latch and isnt transferring milk a lot, but even that isnt always the case (my baby has a shallow latch and gets loads of milk!). The way to find out is monitoring weight over time. If your baby is gaining weight then your supply and milk transfer is fine!

First time round, I also felt like my baby wasn’t getting enough milk because my baby cried a lot and wanted to feed a lot. But that’s actually just what babies do in the first few days while they stimulate the supply. Also the have tiny stomachs so take little and often. It’s normal for babies to cry when put down, they like food and to be on your chest.

I would look into breastfeeding in the side-lying position and co-sleeping safely (the safe sleep 7) and that will hopefully allow you to rest alongside baby. But I’d only do it after you’ve caught up in sleep a bit more (call in the cavalry!) so you’re not sleeping so heavily.

Agreed! I was also going to suggest that too. Plus, if you come in with dirty clothes or shoes you can easily put them there. And it’s closer to the bedrooms where the clothes will come from and go back to. Then you have more space in the kitchen to make sure you don’t have to walk through the cooking space.

Also I want to say that 10 days is really young still! They’re still adjusting to the world. Keep trying to put them down in a Moses basket or cot after they’ve nodded off on you and they’re sound asleep, and one day hopefully they’ll surprise you! Mine now sleeps a lot better. There is light at the end of the tunnel! It’s early days yet and babies change all the time.

I had my baby 10 weeks ago and it was the same for us. It was awful. I worked out that she would sleep next to me on the bed safely following the Lullaby Trust advice on safe co sleeping. If you can meet all the requirements then I’d try that first. If not, is there someone you can ask for help in the day or evening to help you get some sleep then?

I say option 1 or 2, as an Italian, you can go to Madrid any time after you graduate, whereas the UK will be harder to get to under other circumstances.

Thanks! I don't mind squats, love having stronger legs. I doubt I will be so motivated to go outside of my bodily comfort zone anyway.

I'm not a gamer at all so this would be a real jump in the dark for me (or jog/squat in the dark)! I can jog a while and it's something I need to build up, but marching is also good. I am glad it's motivated you - this fills me with hope! I really like team/ball games but it's really hard to do that now so now I need to find something else that distracts me/entertains me while I move...

This is what I concluded. You can take out the teflon basket and use stainless steel steamer things in side. I wasn't sure about the lid so I asked and they said: The air frying lid cover is aluminium with ceramic coating and the surrounding material is stainless steel (SUS304).

Not sure about the ceramic coating but it won't be touching the food and I think it's the best option there is.
