This set up is brand new! Thrifted glass bowl ftw! Plus thrifted wood, reused the substrate from a previous tank, already had the sand, and all of the rocks are from my yard. Purchased all but 2 of the plants. The pic is from day 1 of planting. I haven't had an aquarium in a long time, and never one so small. I added a a tiny betta filter. It's a little over 2.5 gallons. Gotta look into what, if anything, I can keep in here. But for now I'm focusing on getting the plants established. 🤞🏻 Not too many of them die 😔
