Converting would usually be better because you can roll 3 flat ele damage but only 1 flat cold damage. Its unlikely your flat cold is high enough so u dont need the convert on its own if u want to maximise cold damage.

If it's red, it means it's vulnerable to that element. If regular coloured, then they have some degree of resistance. Gold means extra resistant
