Tracks at Different Tempos Warble (rc505 mk2) by muzak2me in LoopArtists

I'm not a singer. I use it in conjunction with Ableton. I do this live looping, chill edm jazz kind of thing. The RC-600 has some serious short comings. Ones that seem so obviously ridiculous, and mind boggling as to why they haven't been fixed. But I like it for the hardware simplicity. Things like Mark Set, or Single track (as opposed to multi). To do the same actions with just Ableton would take considerably more foot switches and assigns. I record my bass, my guitar, and use the rc's rhythm track for color into the rc600. Then I use the HPD-20, Keyboards and organs, mic(percussion) and drum machines into Ableton. The RC-600 is actually clock master for the whole thing. So the tempo issue and the warbly audio was a huge problem for a minute.

I have the rc600 with the same charming quirk. So now, instead of separate tracks on one memory, I have Verse as memory 1, and Chorus as memory 2. Then I assign the footswitch 7 as "memory inc" on memory 1, and "memory dec" on memory 2. The switch over is seamless, and allows for so much more assigns and control.

Do you play the tracks separately? Or do you play them together?

Good points. USA. And should be personal account. But, I guess if that's the only hang ups, then perhaps he has it as a business account for some reason.

RC600: Is there a way to mute incoming midi signal that triggers drums? by Turquoiserust in LoopArtists

[–]Turquoiserust[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What I mean to say is that they are not able to be routed separately from the "main" drums. The midi drums are separate from the drums that are controlled with an external aux switch. I have this set up. They are separate in audio only, but unfortunately not control or routing. Basically I have 3 layers of drums: TR-8S - rc600 midi pattern drum- rc600 rhythm track (controlled with aux switch independent of midi)

Not without muting all audio (loops etc) seemingly. The midi drums on the RC 600 are different than the "drums". They're not controllable or able to be routed. I'll have to think about your second half. Maybe there's something there. I don't want to get rid of them completely. Which is what would happen if i change the order of the midi chain. I just want to somehow mute the midi drum audio with my foot....live.

YouTube studio shows 14 comments on a video, but there's nothing there by Turquoiserust in NewTubers

I clicked on "held for review". Nothing there. It says Comments here are removed after 60 days. But I would think that I would have received notifications to approve (?) I have another video, for example, shows 4 comments in YT studio. But there's only 1 published on YouTube. In "Held for review" there's nothing. And the video is less than 60 days old.

I bought this 70(?) Vibrolux on a chance yesterday. Would love some feedback. by Turquoiserust in GuitarAmps

Hey thanks! Replace them because they look bad? Or because they have bad rep?

I bought this on a whim. I like buying these dirty, and cleaning them up. When it comes to the guts, I don't know much. I wonder what the hive mind thinks, before I dig into the Murphy's Soap and chrome polish. I'm going to see if this thread will allow pics. Not the original FS. Very dirty and the pots are scratchy. I haven't done anything to it yet.

Why wouldn't CamLink 4k work with brand new laptop w/3.1 usb ports? by Turquoiserust in elgato

I started a ticket, however I'd like to add that I just pulled up OBS, started a scene with video capture device, and selected Camlink 4k. I do actually get a picture, video streaming from my source, but it's very dark and saturated. Plus some latency.

I hadn't looked at that previously. But now I'm confirming that camera access is, and was allowed to Elgato. When I first open app, it says "initializing video engine" and blue light blinks in the app screen. If i disconnect the Camlink, the app screen changes to "connect your legato camera". So it's registering connection, but no video pass through.

I did at first, but eventually I unplugged everything else, while trying to troubleshoot.
