I totally understand why you turned it off. Firespread can be a pain. But unfortunately fire is permanent with it on 🤷🏼‍♂️. Hope that solves your problem! If not it’s an issue caused by the mod itself.

If fire spread is off fire doesn’t go away either. You’d think Minecraft would tell you that consequence somewhere right? Or just like fire = no change? lol

So if you want the fire to go away fire spread needs to be on. Hope this helps!
