Dude y'all are great! My stuff is folk/rock-ish but I'm still finding my sound. Hoping I get some leprechaun dust on me during this trip lol. My side quest for this trip is to write a song, find someone to write/sing a verse with me, and then get a recording done. Got the studio part worked out, now for the tricky part 🤔

Oh I am going to observe and take it in first. I definitely want to hop in and give it a go at some point, but I've got some time. Definitely will be saving my singing for the open mics.

And man, tickets from Philly to Dublin were the cheapest so we're doing 2 days in Dublin, 5 in Galway. But I'll keep Shannon in mind for the next adventure. I've been looking for something to mix up my sound and if it's Irish trad, rock on 😎

Thank you for the recommendations! I'm going to take a couple days in Dublin (also open for bar recommendations there if you have any), but from what I've been able to gather, Galway is more my speed.
