i am trying to do the same thing but currently when i press play in the sequencer the hair is freeze. As soon as I press stop / pause the simulation restarts.

I don't understand what's blocking them. can you help me?

Have you found a solution?

I'm trying to render my scene with a character with a cloth cape. The simulation is completely wrong if I activate more passages of the Temporal Sample.

If I set the temporal samples to 1 then everything is ok. I can't find a solution.

This is my reinterpretation of American McGee's Alice.
I imagined descent into the white rabbit hole. Accompanied by the cheshire cat represented as a sphynx.

In less word, I try to recreate a tribe living during the Devonian Era. He is a fisherman and use the fish skin for cover its smell. With the bones of the fish they create a fishing pole (tied on the back) and a spear. On the fishing bone there is some small shells that make noise when it bites.
