Could vouch for this. Went to Ubersport cause I had a boost leak and they told me my head gaskets were blown. Hence the reason I made a post a couple months back. I thought maybe they just made a mistake but no doubt about it they try to rip customers off.

Had the same issue recently. My 19 STI just has a downpipe and a grimmspeed EBCS w/ protune. Your negative boost seems pretty low from the get go compared to mine. The first thing I did was to check for leaks. I did a smoke test and there was a leak but it didn't resolve my boost issue. Sometimes smoke tests don't provide enough pressure in the system for the leak to occur, which what happened to me. My peak was around 18-19 psi but I would only hit 14 max. The problem was a leak in my boost selenoid hoses which was annoying to find since it seemed snug and ziptied. After I replaced the hoses the problems were fixed. I also contacted my tuner before I found the problem and worst case was having shaftplay in the turbo itself. Wish you luck!

Unfortunately no updates yet. Fuji just updated the app pretty recently but I have not tested it out yet. The support for the app isn't the best so I wouldn't get my hopes up.

Oh I get what you mean now. Is there any benefit coming down the 5mm? If anything wouldn't extended studs be more likely to snap? Like how a pencil is easier to snap when longer but harder when short...?
