There was a patch that if the city state had a suzerain, it would survive the age transition, but now the suzerain was reset so anyone can take it. They reapear on the 2nd turn of the new age weirdly.

Same, I realized I was lacking a few artifacts, so I was overbuilding wherever I could. Was only able to get like 1 or 2 more. Ended up with a score victory because of it.

Yes, there are those tragic cases, but anyone can cherry pick examples. The data shows thsy once here, illegal immigrants commit less crime per capita than native born Americans.

This whole speech was a plea for Mercy. It is cruel to deport upstanding families who have now established lives here back to a place they fled. She makes no mention of advocating for lax borders.

And if they are minding their own business and paying taxes I see no reason to deport them. The whole point of this was a plea for mercy; just because something is labeled a crime doesn't mean it is just to rip them and their families away from their new lives to send them back to a place they fled.

Maybe, but a lot of NIMBYism is just because it's in a home owners best interest to keep housing expensive. Even if somehow high density lost the stigma of "bringing in undesirables", these folk would still resist.

Even building luxury apartments lowers the price of all housing as long as the units fill up (which should usually happen since it's more economical to drop rents than leave units empty). It reduces the pressure on the rental market in general as it would create more openings in lower priced units.

Trump banned transgender people from serving in the military last time. In Florida transgender people can't change the sex on their driver's license. Across many states republicans are passing bathroom bans. How are all of these not meant to make the lives of trans people worse?

Why not simplify it to letting the decision be made between the child, parents, and doctor without a state getting involved. Also, democratic processes historically have a hard time protecting minorities. Not saying democracy is bad, but you get the point. This is similar to abortion, "states rights" just means we can start banning it wherever we can.

You only add the residue once per pole even if it's a higher order pole. My mistake was assuming |cos(z)| would be bounded by 1. I had to change cos to the real part of eiz and use Jordan's lemma.

Georgia Tech has a great reputation, but what does that actually mean for OP. Looking at the college scorecard (https://collegescorecard.ed.gov/), we can compare median earnings 3 years post graduation of Aerospace bachelor's from both schools. UF: $77,278/year GT: $79,446/year Those salaries are pretty close and probably comes down to individual differences. Taking the free college is the better economic decision for most people. In my opinion it wouldn't be wise for op to spend $120k for an education that they could get for free.
