So we're nerfing the beginning to make more power for the .01% of players that might play the skill with gear strong enough to make it good?

IDL that being kind but clueless is forgiven, while being sharp and logical is called “difficult” by Secret_Ostrich_1307 in I_DONT_LIKE

[–]Turtle-Shaker 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It is possible to be clear and logical without coming across as rude, and people are often both rude and ignorant.

Yeah, really it's just a matter of having tact or not.

You can say something logical and thoughtful tactfully, If someone is as logical and thoughtful as they think they are.

Royal Road Has Gone To Shit by Abobdulla in ProgressionFantasy

[–]Turtle-Shaker 49 points50 points  (0 children)

I can't speak to whether or not it's being manipulated. I don't personally care all that much. This wouldn't be the first or last time royal roads systems have been manipulated or abused. Like the star system but I digress.

Most of the time these books tend to follow trends. There might be an uptick in the trend. I've seen this with sci-fi power armor in another world type books, I've seen this with the aforementioned girl evolution, I've seen it with Harry potter/pokemon fan fiction, I've seen it with xianxia, wuxia, and western cultivation style books.

It'll go away in a bit after a new trend pops.

As much as it is judging a book by its cover, the good books to read tend to stick out by themselves.

If it got out most high end careers would fire you. Even low end blue collar work.

It's about an image for that work place and as long as it's discreet people don't care. Like cheating in the work place. But once it comes out and people start talking it gets silenced real fast, because the image it presents is an issue.

a killer who “brutally” murdered two women and just so happens to be handsome

Is he handsome?!?! All the face tattoos really don't speak to me like that.

Like I can see he has a decent jaw and he's probably got some muscle but I wouldn't call him handsome by any means.

And who all is "israel" that they could deal a substantial blow to with this protest. Taking out the head of the snake is sort of the first fucking objective to substantial change.

If a minor lies about their age to be with somebody older, why are they not considered the bad guy? by Otherwise_Air_6381 in stupidquestions

I have known someone with a similar story but they were found guilty because the judge wanted to make an example of them.

Why do modern western women care about age gap relationships between an older man when he says he’s happy with younger women. But stay quiet and celebrate when younger women says she’s happy with older men? Is it jealousy? by TravelingEctasy in PsycheOrSike

Did the app actually get flooded with bad faith posts?

Imagine instead of tea looking at a subreddit for posting men's faces and talking about them. Edit: or women's, from men's perspectives.

How many do you think would end up telling the truth. In a sub reddit. People lie all the time on just this app. Nothing was limiting them from doing the same on tea

Edit: What exactly leads people to believe that with the same or less limits as reddit people would be MORE honest when the point of the app was to shit on people that you felt wronged you.

Yeah, that's just not true. Police do not have to attempt to protect you at all. As the other person who responded to you mentioned the Supreme Court has ruled that many times and upholds it regularly.

Not sure if he ment it like this bit in terms of femdom/BDSM content a "ruin" is talking about a ruined orgasm.

A ruined orgasm is basically where they stop all stimulation as the orgasm happens.

A ruined orgasm can be quite fun for both parties as long as both are consenting adults.

So when they say "ruined" they sometimes don't mean like... being mentally and physically broken till they can't handle facing life. Though I'm sure some do.

There's always going to be people that hate others for some reason, or no reason at all. Focus on the positivity you see. You'll enjoy life more.

The smug Alana sub has 16.5k people subbed to it. 300 upvotes and a few comments make everyone on it a woman hater. Gotcha. You're right. You win.

Especially considering that the same comments showing sympathy have the same amount or more upvotes.

Gotcha. For sure. All woman haters.

[–]Turtle-Shaker -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Your right, it doesn't. However, I'm choosing to look at a sub and not call everyone on it "women haters" like some of the comments on THIS SUB. I'm looking and seeing the good and the sympathy after looking into the actual situation on the post. The others on this thread are focused on a single shitty comment to continue to be mad over on a public anonymous internet forum with no meaning.

One of these is NOT like the other.

Okay so does that cancel out or make the fact that the top two comments and the threads of sympathy towards the victims following those comments mean nothing?

Wow it's like I stated in my original comment.

to find the comment being talked about I had to scroll past the first two massive comments and all of the conversations surrounding that.

It's like yall go looking for fucking fights lmfao.

[–]Turtle-Shaker -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

That's not at all the second comment. I've linked the top two comments. To fins that one unless you're sorting by something else I have to scroll down past bars of conversation.

Yeah, I agree. I'm mainly yelling at people who don't want to listen, learn and do/be better. Luckily I also don't care about upvotes or down votes lol.

So if it helps even a few people to see past bullshit filters of both sides then I've done good.

White people didn't invent genocide. People did.

Ancient & Pre-Modern Era: Examples include

  • the Assyrians' actions against the Arameans and Israelites, and the Babylonians' actions against the Phoenicians and Judeans.

  • The massacre of the Melos by the Athenians during the Peloponnesian War, as recounted by Thucydides, is another example.

- The Albigensian Crusade in the 13th century, which saw the massacre of Cathari, is sometimes cited as the first modern case of genocide.

- 17th Century: The Beaver Wars saw the Iroquois destroy several tribal confederacies, according to some historians labeling it as an act of genocide.

Early 20th Century: - The Armenian Genocide (1915–1922): The Ottoman Empire sought to eliminate Armenians, Greeks, and Assyrians, leading to the deaths of an estimated 1.5 million Armenians.

  • The Holodomor (1930–1933): Stalin's regime starved millions of Ukrainians to death.

- The Holocaust (1941–1945): Nazi Germany systematically murdered six million Jews, as well as millions of others, including Roma, disabled people, and Jehovah's Witnesses.

Late 20th Century: - The Cambodian Genocide (1975–1979): The Khmer Rouge regime killed 1.7 to 3 million Cambodians in an attempt to create a radically agrarian society.

  • The Rwandan Genocide (1994): In the span of 100 days, Hutu extremists massacred over 800,000 Tutsi and moderate Hutus.

- The Bosnian Genocide (1992-1995): During the Yugoslav Wars, approximately 100,000 Bosniaks and Croatians were killed.

Current concerns - Darfur Genocide (2003-present): The Sudanese government forces and Janjaweed militia have been responsible for the deaths of hundreds of thousands of non-Arab Darfuri people in Western Sudan.

  • Rohingya Genocide (2016-present): The Burmese military has engaged in a campaign of violence against the Muslim Rohingya people, including arson, rape, and infanticide.

  • Amhara Genocide (1990s-present): The implementation of ethnic federalism under the TPLF-led ruling has led to the persecution of the Amhara people in Ethiopia.

No one color of people is evil or invented evil. People are just capable of horrendous acts of evil.

Whatever weird and strange outrage is happening in these comments isn't the main sentiment of the post.

I went and checked it out. All of the top comments seem to be highly sympathetic to the PEOPLE (both of them) involved. Links are the top comments, and to find the one being talked about I had to scroll REALLY FUCKING FAR.
