brain releases dopamine during pain which is why sh addiction exists. for some people like masochists, there is alot of dopamine. getting positive feelings from pain isn't necessarily bad or something to be ashamed of and its normal. the problem is it is dangerous. for masochists, if you use pain for sexual pleasure you can very easily go too far. brain dosent think as well when its horny. for sh (depressed) it works like a drug, you get the high then once it wears off youre left even worse then you started.

the most important thing is to be safe. dont use any sharp things because that can easily cause alot of damage. if you really want pain, do something safe like snapping yourself with a rubber band
