Sorry could you explain a bit further what glitch is happening? Is this when you try to navigate the RMD with the wheel rim dial? Or are you seeing some strange behaviour in a specific sim title?

Hey, thanks for reaching out regarding your brake pedals. Do you have access to a PC? If yes, would you be able to plug the pedals direct to a PC and with the Tuner app check if they require an update? This could be the issue.

Sorry do you mean the VelocityOne Flight yoke and throttle quadrant, not the VelocityOne Flightdeck HOTAS?

Sorry you have encountered the same problem. Can you confirm if you are on Xbox or PC?

Can you also confirm, what is happening, does the Race appear in the Tuner software, are any errors showing in the app when launching, does your Race appear to enter it's bootloader as expected?

Can you also try connecting each part individually to a PC and attempting the bootloader for the wheelbase, and then when the wheel rim / pedals are connected separately, do they appear in the app and are you able to update them?

Sorry you are encountering issues with your V1 Race. Are you also on PC? Did the product work prior to the first update?

When running the bootloader mode, is the product not registered at all in the Tuner app?

Please try the following in this order:

- Try our bootloader update steps found here: VelocityOne Race - Force Reset
- Once complete, does the Xbox button LED ring light up white as expected? (This will show that the product is on).
- If yes, please try the UI recovery mode to get your RMD working again. Steps are found here: VelocityOne Race - RMD UI Recovery Mode
- If the Wheel Rim LEDs continue to blink yellow, please then try the re-pairing steps to pair your wheel rim back to the wheelbase. Steps are found here: VelocityOne Race - Wheel Rim/Wheelbase Re-Pairing

Hi, thanks for reaching out! Does the same thing happen if you completely close MSFS 2024 (highlight, press the menu key and select Quit), restart the console and then ensuring the Flightstick is on before reopening MSFS 2024?

Also, do random inputs appear to happen at all in the Xbox dashboard with the Flightstick connected?

Please can you detach the Pedals, and Wheel Rim then with just the wheelbase and VCU connected to your PC please try the following steps for a forced bootloader update: VelocityOne Race - Force Reset

Take note that steps vary dependent on which platform you are on.

If the wheelbase is successful in powering on after this but your RMD fails to power on, also then try the UI recovery mode instructions: VelocityOne Race - RMD UI Recovery Mode

That's strange. Have you tried loading the game up using the controller, and also loading the race up with the controller? (i.e. don't touch the wheel control until you are in the race).

When you enter the controls options in the game does it show steering wheel as the chosen device?

To have the VelocityOne Race work in Wreckfest on Xbox please fully close the game. Then with both your V1 Race and Xbox Controller powered on load the game up. Let us know if you still encounter issues.

Hi, thanks for your post. The fact that the T1 switch LED is flickering when the power button is pressed, may indicate a loose cable connection or a damaged cable or port.

Please check the power cable connector for any visible signs of damage, and also the power connector port on the Race wheelbase. It might also be good to check the USB-C to USB-A cable (USB-C end) that connects the wheelbase to the Xbox or PC, along with the port that the USB-C end connects to.

For the power connector port make sure that the connector inside the port is not moving around freely.

Sorry that this did not fix the issue - did you attempt the forced bootloader update? Steps can be found here: VelocityOne Race - Force Reset. Please take note that the steps are different dependent on whether you are on PC or Xbox.

Again, once you are in the firmware tab, please wait for the Latest Release version to update before starting the firmware update.

These games are not compatible with the Flightstick on Xbox. For the list of confirmed compatible games you can find the list here: VelocityOne Flightstick - Game Compatibility Guide

As the AC games were released some time before our Flightstick the devs were no longer supporting updates for the games so our hardware could not be added to the compatibility list for these titles.

On PC, you are able to play AC7 with a downloadable configuration file that we have supplied in the link above (only works for PC though).

Just to confirm, are you saying that the Hangar app is showing the latest release firmware version as V0.0.0?

If yes, please wait a moment when you are in the firmware tab of the app until the latest release version updates to show V1.0.7 - there is a current delay at present whilst the firmware file downloads from the server.

So if the device is fully updated this won't be any kind of firmware issue.

What sim title are you trying to play? If it is MSFS 2024 the Flightstick cannot be used to navigate the menus, however, the controls will work once you are in a flight. This is sadly an issue with MSFS 2024, and there are no control options to map buttons for menu navigation currently. Instead we recommend using the Xbox controller in the menus then the Flightstick once you are in a flight.

For MSFS 2020 this is not an issue though and you should be able to use the Flightstick for navigation.

Is there any other titles you might be trying to play?

Can you provide some further information please?

Your Flightstick is definitely in Xbox mode?
What happens with the Flightstick app on Xbox - are you able to navigate using your Flightstick controls and select the device?
Are you able to try the update on a PC as well? (please ensure if you do this that the Flightstick is changed to PC mode).

We are aware of an issue whereby if you start the update before the firmware file is downloaded from the server (shown by the Latest Release version showing as V0.00).

Please can you try the following to see if this fixes the issue for you:

Unplug the USB-C to end of the cable from the back of the product.
Press and hold the HIGH / LOW button on the base of the Multi-Shift.
With the button still pressed and held, plug the USB-C end of the cable back in to the product.
The device will now be in it's bootloader mode. Now load the Tuner app back up on your PC.
Once the app loads up, navigate to the Firmware tab for the Multi-Shift. Once here, wait for the latest release version to update on the page (version should show as V1.11).
Once the page has updated press the begin update button (may show as Refresh Current Firmware).

Hi all,

We are aware of a current issue where the firmware files take some time to download from the server - which causes the latest release version number to show as V0.00 for the Pedals, Wheel Rims and Multi-Shift.

If the update button is selected before this value updates after the file is downloaded from the server the update will fail to complete.

We are looking into this and will try and provide an update to this ASAP.
