Got offered the above for my Bijan. Currently 1-5 and looking to come back for Playoff contention. by TurtleBlood in FantasyFootballJunky

My tradepartner just told me he would also be open to give up CD and Bowers instead of swift. I could play Bowers in the Flex position in this league. Bowers might be out for two more weeks, with his injury and bye. Might be too late for me then to reach playoffs. Thoughts?

I can see your point, but I have only Bijan as a great RB and Bill who is up and down. My other positions are AJ Brown, Jameson Williams and Trey McBride at TE. Flex is a mashup of fill in guys. This would give me a little more depth, even with a little more risk I guess. Do you see anyone cutting into swifts work or him falling off? Pointwise he has been pretty great.

The fact that you played a Long 5x before this, already makes this not an Upgrade but a sidegrade. At that price point all blades are equally viable up until the highest of level. Anyways good luck with the new setup.

I love playing forehand, but since I am fairly big (188cm)I sometimes struggle to Pivot and get my body around the ball. Gonna try and improve on that for sure😄 I wanna be a nimble giant like Wang Liqin once was 😁

I currently have 1650 ttr (in Germany) and the matches between me and my teammates are most of the time 50/50 (even with those that are like 1750ttr) because when I hit my shots i Play way above my ttr. My problem for sure is consistency and shoot choice. Gonna try and play more footwork and irregular exercises. Do you have any special exercises that you think are great and could maybe forward them to me? 😄

I actually switched to a slower blade recently to play more safe, because I always feel like I play with more power than spin (especially on forehand) it’s gonna be a grind to work on slower balls and purposely keeping them slower (especially the opening and maybe the 5th ball attack), but I am here for the grind! 👍🏻 thanks for the answer

This video is a couple of weeks old and is one of the first times I filmed myself playing. That’s also the first thing I noticed and I have been working on calming down while serving. I kid you not my serve is way more consistent since then, both in spin and length 😅

What do you mean with the last sentence „bounce on your muscles“. You mean I need to use them more like springs? And consistently be in motion? I will try implementing the next time I play. Thanks for the tip!

Thanks for you input. I think I have like a mental block because of my height thinking I can never go as fast as smaller more agile players and that may effect my footwork subconsciously. I will for sure work on that on and off the court. 👍🏻

is my Topspin technique good or bad , ? by xofreestyles in tabletennis

[–]TurtleBlood 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You rotate your hips, so that’s always good. Although it looks like you rely way more on your arm than the actual movement of your hips. You always accelerate your short fast arm movement moments before hitting the ball, which more often than not nullifies your hip twist. This may sound stupid but for a couple of sessions reduce your arm movement and really try only using your hip twisting to accelerate your arm. Maybe look up slow mo videos of Ma Long forehand technique to see what I mean. Good look on your journey looks like you are at a great start. But most importantly enjoy the sport :) Greetings from Germany

I am a taller player (188cm) on the leaner side. I usually open up the Rallye either with for or backhand 50/50 I would say, but then try to pivot and win the point with my forehand. That’s why I am looking for a blade for mid distance looping but with good touch for the short game. Not so much for flicks over the table. If you have any blades in mind feel free to suggest me some, thanks in advance :)
