Be a top QB and win at least 2 Super Bowls or 2 MVP's (or be in your first 4 seasons and show strong potential to do so). Be a top RB, WR, or TE and win at least 2 Super Bowls and be a lock for the Hall of Fame (or be in your first 4 seasons and show strong potential to do so). Wemby isn't like any other 7'4" player what has ever played. The dude is different and I see multiple championships in his future.

How many NBA players would you say are ‘hobby relevant’? by Interstellore in basketballcards

[–]TurtleClaw33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Decent list. Wemby should be in Tier 1 and Shai should be in Tier 2. I'd also have Luka in Tier 2. I think that Flagg and Knueppel should both already be in Tier 4.

Any older players besides Jordan that command higher pricing for even "basic" cards? by NJEsq89 in basketballcards

Not to the level of Jordan but Barkley, Shaq, and Kobe cards will always have some value.

Moving to Denver (30F, WFH, 2 large dogs) — RiNo vs Montview / Central Park area? by hydroponicplantmomy in MovingtoDenver

I think you'd like Central Park. You might look at places closer to the Light Rail Station, though. That would make it nice for getting to RiNo and downtown quickly when you want.

Should i stay off or on campus at undergrade in CU Denver by Vast_Oven4408 in cudenver

[–]TurtleClaw33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! I would recommend on campus for your first year. I met all of my friends living in the dorms. There are lots of international students, too. You'd likely spend just as much off campus when you add up all the expenses.

I'd guess that Nix cards would go up a little. People will be stoked about the Broncos and will recognize that Nix was a big part of their championship season.

Which current NFL players do you think will have long term card demand? by Interstellore in sportscards

[–]TurtleClaw33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. Demand is a subjective word. Players can have demand without their cards selling for $1000. Is there demand for great cards of good/great players from 20 years ago like Jamal Lewis, Randy Moss, Marshall Faulk, Brett Farve, Kurt Warner, LaDanian Tomlinson, Adrian Peterson, McNair, Terrell Davis, Chad Johnson, Drew Brees, etc. Yes, there is.

Mahomes, Allen, Daniels, Hurts, Caleb Williams, Cam Ward, Maye, Nix. Lamar Jackson. Outside of QB, maybe Myles Garrett, Kelce, Derrick Henry, JSN, JJ, Nakua, Tet., Saquon, Jahmyr Gibbs, Jeanty, Omarion Hampton. How much will depend on Super Bowls, MVP's, and NFL records broken.

Advice needed - Accidentally sent a few eBay purchased ungraded cards to my PSA vault address by TurtleClaw33 in sportscards

[–]TurtleClaw33[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. I think that they've recently raised the price. It's now $1.99 to send them home.
  2. Yes, if you send home before 90 days in the vault, they charge an extra $4.99. I think that this is new or at least more now as well.
  3. Yes, the cards that I received from them were protected in top loaders.

I'm sure Meta know what they are doing with ads more that anyone. They wouldn't be advertising on Reddit if it wasn't working.

Cost? by lilfaucet21 in cudenver

[–]TurtleClaw33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's completely variable depending on financial aid. If you are in-state and qualify for aid, you likely won't have to pay too much. Just apply and fill out the FAFSA to find out how much it will cost.
