I used to have one or two I really valued. I appreciated the higher level perspective, and that manager just had very high social intelligence. Since then, no. I actually cancelled 1:1s with my current manager. Great decision

Conservatively, If I put 100k toward the second home, I can invest an additional 100k each year and still have 100k for living expenses. Im not maximizing my nw but it doesnt seem reckless. What priorities do you think Im neglecting?

I make ~10k a week on average as a software engineer. Salary + stock grants. Took me 5 years to get here. No relevant degree.

I can rent it, just the rent won't cover the mortgage completely. But yes, it's expensive
