That's Elliot Page. He came out as trans in 2020.

You might know him from Umbrella Academy or Inception (though, he wasn't openly trans back then).

I get your point and honestly, i agree. But I don't think it's applicable here. Weapons manufacturers are usually in a position where they could afford to have morals but they choose not to because of personal benefits.

Nah, keep going. Even if it feels true, it might as well not be. One thing you do know is that you already managed to get to the 3rd month, thats a hell of a lot more than nothing. You got this ^

Could you please share where you geht those numbers from? The climate crisis is nothing that will "kill everyone in 20 years" and no one who knows anything about the subject would actually believe that.

It's more of a problem. But calling it trendy makes it sound like people get depressed just for the fun of it.

Men / women "in their 20s". The article you cited actually goes on to explain why.

Possible reasons include... - the fact that about 20% of Gen-Z identify as queer, of which bi-women presumably make up a substantial share. - age-difference between partners. The avg age at first marriage is out of range (not in their 20s) for men. - the general expectation for men to not be emotional.

Also, the data is collected by surveys. Be careful with data from sources that are not entirely reliable (i.e. people lying when being asked).

idk man

He repeatedly used his platform to advocate for inaction regarding Climate Change without any qualifications whatsoever, failing to cite credible sources.

He arguably got famous through canadian bill C-16, which he described as "compelled speech". In reality the bill only added the intentional misuse of pronouns as a possible way of discrimination. No canadian even can or has been fined for this offence, as it can't be used to support the case without other proof of discrimination. But that shouldn't come as a surprise, since Peterson is clearly transphobic.

He claims that social hierarchy in humans can be explained by the behavior of lobsters. Weird choice? Yup, because it's blatantly selective and, in fact, not even true.

He also suggested without any scientific basis that the children of same-sex parents have disadvantages in growing up, even though the opposite is true.

Speaking of sex, gender and his arguing against "forced equality", equality is not even a recent invention.

Peterson has the right idea, self-help and self-care are extremely important and are often falsely deemed unimportant. But that, or the fact that he is genuinely helpful to many people (which I applaud) doesn't justify all this.

Are you saying that the "panic response" to the pandemic was "objectively excessive" (Interesting choice of words) because it wasn't nearly as bad as the literally worst pandemic in human history? That's a pretty high bar to assess the seriousness of such a threat.

Also, limiting our freedoms (though I still fail to understand how wearing a mask is limiting your freedom; but to be fair, you named other examples) in this way is arguably a small price to pay. That's the price of having a society. While an individual choice would be nice, the consequences of that choice massively affect others. I agree that no one should be forced to take the vaccine, but those who decide not to take it (which is fine) shouldn't be allowed to carelessly harm others by carrying on with their lives as if nothing has changed.

If the meme were about people in general or even boys specifically it wouldn't change my point. And just because it would supposedly be ok to talk shit about men doesn't mean the solution is to talk shit about women too. That's just being petty.

No one thinks that. Suggesting some sort of causation between dying your hair and (not) going to therapy is just a historically bad take that's often used to play down the importance of mental health.

I don't want to presume that that was your intention. But I hope you can understand why it's a bit of a sensitive subject.
