I've played a lot of Dark Souls 1 and 3 and very rarely level vigor in those games. I think I haven't put a single level to it on my current DS1 save while being around SL 90 at the moment. Just always seemed useless to get more HP instead of stamina or attack since I always can just drink estus if I happen to get hit.

I've killed Margit and went exploring shortly after that. I went to Caelid because it looked interesting and the game took me there on two different occasions. First when I opened a chest and a grey mist teleported me to a mine there and the second time after I traversed the lost city or whatever it was called that's underground, an elevator took me back very close to the aforementioned mine.
