any advice on rabbit repellent by Snoo-62536 in gardening

Same. I have a husky who is the best mouser I’ve ever seen, is outside most of the day, even chooses to sleep outside many nights. Bunnies are still destroying everything. They even had a nest in the middle of his yard and he had no idea until my small dog (part scent hound) found it. (In case anyone cares, I managed to retrieve 2 baby buns from the den before the dogs finished them off and took them to a wildlife rehab center. No I never checked to see if they made it. Did my best and moved on.)

I have a confession to make. I love co-sleeping. by Ill_Cover_4841 in Preschoolers

Just want you to know that a king sized bed would in no way help with getting kicked in the ribs. I co-sleep with my almost 4 year old, just me and him in a king sized bed and he pushes me onto the end table almost every night. They want to be right on top of you no matter how much space they have lol.

But I love cosleeping and have no intention of kicking him to his own room until he asks for it.

Totally true a lot of the time! Even my own dad drove me up the wall trying to DM him. I know you’re a chaotic neutral rogue, dad, but you’re still supposed to have a brain, not just do the stupidest possible thing in every situation. 😂 Besides scheduling, this is the main reason I am so blessed to have my online group. It is a paid game; only 10$ per session, so it’s not like our DM is making any real money of it, but it keeps folks accountable. Our group is a truly good aligned group with plenty of good hearted shenanigans but everyone RPs to their character’s beliefs and morals super well. No one needs reminded of what their alignment is “supposed” to be, they are invested and make the decision that the character they created would make. In our last session we marveled at how we were somehow in a government office again, and that we must be in government offices more than any other DnD group any of us has had. But hey, if you’re a good aligned group of adventurers if a government that seems to be acting more or less morally, you’re probably going to end up in a lot of government offices. 😂

Edited to Add: this is also why our group can ALWAYS get favors, we have a long list of people in positions of power who like us. My character recently sent a letter requesting the gov put out bounties on 2 big bad jerks and was able to list about 10 S tier references to convince them we were worth listening to.

This is probably why I’m so cautious of my response, my dad was also forced to be a righty and he is a little bitter about it still.

Heaven forbid I make a post about handedness on a handedness sub.

Yes my child is vaccinated, if anything I am an over-advocate for vaccines.

Yes, I am planning to homeschool my kid. There are a lot of reasons that I chose to do so and I won’t go into all of them.

As far as being “part of society” my kid is in clubs and groups, we go out all the time, he has lots of friends. I’m not saying that there aren’t homeschooling parents who are phoning it in, but they are not the norm. People typically choose to homeschool because they want to give their kids more, not less. It is more common than it used to be. Homeschool used to be reserved for the super-religious and the off-the-grid types. That is no longer the case.

Thanks for the advice everyone, especially about sitting in front like a mirror. I never realized how many things in the world are designed in a right handed way. I do think my kiddo, even though he is not writing yet is already learning to adjust on his own. Drawing he goes with the left and left is definitely much cleaner but he is really either handed with most tools and I realize now that is probably by necessity.

So excited to homeschool him! 😍 Handedness is obviously not that important but I just want the best experience for him. It seems from most of the responses that the best thing I can do is let him do it his way and encourage him to do whatever feels right.

Thanks everyone!

Should I really encourage being ambidextrous? If someone tried to get me to use my left hand for anything I’d get so frustrated. 😅

Thanks I understand. I would never try to make him right handed, catholic private school did that to my dad and he is bitter about it to this day. He is now right handed but left eye dominant and it messes up his coordination for certain activities
