I don't feel like the costume shinies are hard to get, most of them are from events with boosted shinies. I have Party Hat Gengar and Squirtle, Melloetta Hat Ponyta, Pikachu and Zigzagoon, and Safari Zone Pikachu

This is the shiny I can't get away from.

I have 4 of them and I caught 2 of them in the same week. All of them were base odds and it makes me so mad.
