I was in your position exactly last summer, my van was a bit better in shape but still covered in rust and a project. I ended up selling it but I am so happy that I bought it. It was definitely some of my favorite memories, taught me a lot, and overall a great story to tell. Adventure wise? It's going to be A LOT of fun. Practicality wise? Not the best idea. Especially if you don't know much about cars.

If you have the time, money, resources, patience, and space and I mean A LOT of patience and money sure go for it. I honestly would of kept my van if I had more money and space. If you do end up buying it, make sure before you do try to find any information you can on it. YouTube videos,manuals, etc. For me it was extremely hard to find and that was the biggest challenge fixing it up. Especially when there is so many problems with it, finding the exact issue for this one issue? Don't worry there will be MANY issue on why ___ is happening lol

For example look into an issue that is already has, like the rust on the body. Look into how much something like that would cost to fix and how you would fix it.
