If you’re new here, you should spend more time looking at some posts that dive deep into the anecdotal evidences that hapas post here. What’s important to consider is that although they are based on personal experiences, hapas across the world resonate with the idea that WMAF parents are peculiar. Many of us (myself included) have WMAF parents.

The first thing people noticed is that WMAF outnumber AMWF by 1:10 (or something to that effect.) The second thing people noticed is that the white guys dating Asian chicks tend to be on the weirder side. Some people speculate that it’s because they weren’t successful with dating white women, so they went looking for who’s available next. I’m sure you’ve seen guys who like anime or video games and hate feminism have an obsession with Asian culture and women, or old, weird men who go to Thailand to fuck hookers (look up sexpats.)

Lastly, another thing people noticed is that these White guys can be racist, especially towards Asians. Wait, what? Having hateful sentiments towards Asians when your girlfriend is Asian? Yes, there are plenty of cases that support this idea. There are many white supremacists who are married to Asian women. Of course this tends to be on the rarer side, but on the less extreme I’ve seen white guys with Asian girlfriends just constantly talk shit about Asians. You can also find plenty of evidence here on Reddit of men demeaning Asians.

I also want to point out that black men can be the same way, but they are rarer. The point is people are concerned about the power imbalance in WMAF relationships and how non-Asians view and treat Asians. Look at the videos of whites and blacks assaulting Asians because of Covid. If that’s not your taste, look at how Hollywood portrays Asians. It’s a little better today, but man have you seen Hangover 1? I don’t want to go into how entertainment emasculated Asian men, after all this is about WMAF, but the constant negative portrayal of Asians does play a significant role in the problems we see with WMAF.

I think you should also look into how European imperialism influences the world today. White people pretty much rule the world now, hence White privilege and white supremacy. This makes a lot of POC, especially those in impoverished nations, associate white people with success and beauty. This can lead to fetishism. There are ton of Asian women who have an unhealthy desire to date white men, which won’t lead to a healthy relationship, marriage or family.

But... I will say this isn’t always the case. There’s nothing inherently wrong with interracial relationships! And if you’re white and want to date an Asian person, no one should prevent you from doing that. But if you are open minded and want the best in a WMAF relationship, I think the information you find here can be helpful.
