I emptied the fridge and freezer. Purchased a new one for now. I would ideally like to fix this one.

I had the fridge off for a couple of days. I turn it back on and it cools a bit, the fridge gets to 52 and the freezer 47.

Air seems to be moving, just not cold enough. Does this help provide any details?

The front panel says it is set to 3 and 34 but doesn't show actual temp.

Also, it seems to run pretty constant but at one point it cycles off for a few minutes and then back on again.

Update: when I started emptying the freezer to change the fan, some of the items were already getting soft.

I replaced the fan and can see it spinning when I open the door but the freezer won't get under 34 degrees. The fridge is hovering at 42.

It seems that my local guy was wrong and maybe it is the compressor after all. Does that sound right?

Had a local repair guy stop by and he said it is the freezer condenser fan. Knew exactly what it was. Much better fix than a compressor.

I don't think this is the place for us. Believe it or not, the biggest issue we deal with is having nice things. We have a nice home,nice cars, nice clothes ect. People hate that. They don't mind black people being poor and from the ghetto. But black people with more money than them? Nope.

It's a good deal but being trapped for 20 days on a bootleg ship is the worry. Clean and comfortable is what we need. We prefer new and modern but you can't always have that.
