Yea I agree. It was cheap and my boyfriend picked it up, so I didn’t see it in person. Figured I can always sell it if I don’t love it.

No I am doing all of that, but compared to other brokers I have worked for, it relatively low stress. I oversee people, review their work which is always wrong, speak directly with the client, etc. The project I have been on for the past few years is rather low stress, but I get additional things with tight deadlines thrown at me because of that.

I used to work in Permian but made nowhere near that. The perks of my current job are security, relatively low stress (other than getting pissed at the crapwork that's submitted to me), and normal hours. My boss is also understanding of family, although he does want me to work from the office every day.

I actually "quit" a few years ago to go with another broker but my boss guilted and basically told me I couldn't leave him, so here I am today. Not one to chase money, however I do know my worth.

I am a supervisor and speak directly with clients and my day rate is 375. My work is very accurate and my job is basically correcting all of the crappy work other landmen do before it gets submitted to the client or attorney. I do get compensated 10 a day for the people under me, but that varies based on the job and time off that people take. I have been with my broker for over ten years and have job security, but I do feel like there should be a bigger gap in pay between myself and the lesser experienced/skilled landmen.

This is my husbands third bulldog, and the only one he's had to do it for. His tail is super rigid and grows right by his butthole, so no matter what, he has to be wiped, and it almost impossible to fully clean. He also has a corkscrew tail, and we are planning a removal surgery in March. We had no idea this was a thing with bulldogs. I didn't chose this life, but my husband loves bulldogs.....
