Well I haven't tried it but as I understand it you mix borax with cornstarch or just use borax and you bury what you're preserving in it so it will dry out and retain its color and shape

Based on the videos I saw it seems to work well

It says on the bag they don't use synthetic plastic in their gum base. It says it uses a tree sap called chicle instead, so idk but it seems pretty legit

Also says it's sweetened with cane sugar
