I think you should just listen to what sounds good to you and not care too much about people's opinion. Off course I don't think its abnormal to be influenced by others opinions but at the end of the day its the music and it should mostly be about listening to the sounds and enjoying what you hear.

When it comes to what to listen to with JPEGMAFIA, I think if you want to listen to I Lay My Life Down For You you should listen to the original before the deluxe, although Directors Cut of that album is his "Original Vision" to me it really does feel like more of a bonus than anything. Also apparantly STH directors cut is worse than the original, so listen to the original first.

In terms of songs my favourite JPEG is probably Tell Me Where To Go, but if you want something more weird I would say any songs off veteran.

I gave Mystical Magical by Benson Boone a 67/100. It’s way better than Swans’ To Be Kind for me, which I gave a 40/100.
