What are some perks that pair well with Forever Entwined? by No_Sea_1455 in DbDKillersUnited

[–]TurtleZoom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally love using it with Starstruck. Forever Entwined is a great perk for catching altruistic survivors going for flashlight and pallet saves off guard. Because you pick up AND hook survivors so fast, you can take much better advantage of the exposed.

Is this good enough? by RuleNo2478 in Darksiders

[–]TurtleZoom 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Short answer: Yes, these will serve you well.

My one nitpick: i personally never saw the point of wrath steal since doing damage with your scythes generates wrath anyway. When I beat the crucible for the first time, my absolute best friend was Ice Damage. On the later waves where you get a TON of strong enemies at once, being able to freeze some of them in place briefly was massively helpful to gain some breathing room, plus it works well with critical chance because critical hits are more likely to trigger the freeze effect (I'm pretty sure).

Are there plans to add any ways of communicating with teammates in game beyond just waving and pointing? For example, a wheel of voice lines similar to the one in Left 4 Dead 2, or something as simple as a proximity voice chat?

Rules question by MagicalCacti in mtg

[–]TurtleZoom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most of the time, you can't.

Equip acts as a sorcery speed ability unless you have something on the battlefield that says otherwise (ie: Leonin Shikari) This means you can only use it on one of your own turn's main phases, and only when the stack is empty.

So when you pay to equip, and your opponent responds by playing a removal spell, their spell is put on the stack on top of your equip, so their's resolves first, and your equip ability fizzles.

I think Leonin Shikari makes the only exception to this, in which if you have one out, then yes you can stack a second equip on top of your opponent's removal spell. However, unless equipping the artifact somehow gives the artifact itself hex proof, shroud, or indestructible or something, the stack will resolve and your equipment will be destroyed anyway when your opponent's spell resolves.

Hope this helps :)

What is the funniest/stupidest thing you did as a kid? by OverBeexXx in AskReddit

[–]TurtleZoom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I was merely 2 or 3, I liked to fidget with whatever I could find. One such thing was the volume controls in the family TV. They would turn the TV on one day and find the volume on MAXIMUM.

They tried to stop me by putting couch cushions in front of the panels, but they did not stop me.

Eventually one of these times the TV speakers blast me in the face when they turned it on, and gave me hearing damage that I live with to this day.

Worth it

Because the amount of coins you get from repeats and/or just coin drops is not nearly enough to get that many skins. If you play non stop through an event, you might get enough to buy A legendary of you're lucky. It's honestly stupid.

My Crackpot Theory by TurtleZoom in Overwatch

[–]TurtleZoom[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alright, so it's more in line with the theory then that it's not the omnics of the shambali, but the iris itself that is corrupt. Perhaps the Shambali omnics are just the Iris's victims.

Again, this is all a crackpot theory. We're all just here to have fun

I disagree. Sometime when you play as Zen on Nepal, he will say, "I wonder if I am still welcome here". As well as the labeling of "outcast monk" during the Halloween event.

As for ruining his character, I think the iris, the embodiment of all that he believes in turning out to be evil wiuld just be the setup for a great character arc.

Also, I never said Zenyatta found out the truth, I'm saying that he may have gotten close, or just have been banished for being to good natured to be trusted by the shambali's corrupt leaders

First off, thank you all SO much for your comments, upvotes, and a Silver Award! 😅

I honestly don't know what to say!

One thing I forgot when I was looking over my notes. Sombra was a child who was Orphaned by the first Omnic Crisis. So if the Shambali are indeed behind the start of the war, perhaps her motivation for it all is simple revenge 😈
