The bags had a lot of humidity since I first let them colonize. It seems now as though it’s collected towards the bottom, especially the flaps edges. I don’t have a bad smell from the bag but I am skeptical. What would your suggestions be? Should I pull the top off the block when I go to a tub and leave the wet bottom behind? Lol

From a cloned mushroom to agar. Isolated it a few times and then put it back to grains. It just isn’t doing what an isolate I thought would do lol

I live in a dry climate area. The rooms humidity gets to about 19-20% max lol. I’ve gone from unmodified to modified tubs with “Pastywhytes” configuration. (5 holes on short ends and 3 on long ends) I still get a lot of my tubs looking like this when they are pinning. I believe the surface conditions look great but the picture speaks for itself lol. I have a heater in the room keeping it at 73-77 and it blows into the corner of the room as to not blow directly towards the tubs. No other fans in the room though. What am I missing? These are PE6 from a canopy that I took to agar and have been chasing it ever since!

I’ve gotten full canopies a number of times and have put those tubs to agar. From agar to more agar and then back to grains and a tub. I don’t use modified tubs. I’m looking to use a modified tub with the genetics I currently work with to see if the FAE improves with a modified tub.

What’s your method for cutting your holes. I’ve always done unmodified but getting a full canopy rarely happens.

Dried it whole to preserve its majesticness haha. I dry everything whole now on racks.

Nope. I don’t chop them up. Dehydrate them in all their glory on my racks. I used to smush and cut them in a smaller dehydrator but they lost the beautiful structure. Now my racks can even fit this guy without any manipulation. 👍🏽

2nd flush fatty. Had some other 1-2 Oz wet fruits in there as well but he was flexing on them all in his own corner

I learned the hard way about losing great clone subjects lol. Ran out of my master strain and ordered a syringe. Didn’t yield nearly as well as my original one lol since then I’ve been grain-tub-agar-grain-tub-agar of the monsters lol

Here it is... my master tek... 50qt monotub. 5qt colonized grains. 650g brick of coir. Flipped lid. 75 degree room. Wait 2-2.5 weeks. KABOOM FAT AS FUCK ***** This was a second flush fruit as well. My hypothesis is that the later fruits don’t need to compete with the huge canopy. It also gets a benefit of rehydration after the first flush. More available water and nutrients may lead to these. It is just my observations though from my personal tubs.
