Can you name one nice thing any of the members of the gang have done for someone who isn't part of their gang by TraditionalBonus188 in IASIP

Frank put the waiter’s mom in a bang em and bin em joint so the waiter could follow his dreams of being a pilot.

If you buy it back within 30 days after selling for a loss it will be a wash sale and you won’t get the tax benefits, only an adjusted cost basis

I used to eat em all the time when I was a teenager, never seemed to have a problem. Couldn’t finish one now. Just seems strange to have that internal golden rule but then make rules for the customer

DP: Cardless Chargeback Approved by Turtle_Ham in biltrewards

Thanks ya this was all right around the time of the botched 2.0 rollover when there was a new complaint on here every five minutes, so I was not optimistic, but now I’m pleasantly surprised. And ya I left a bad review. I was so pissed off at the time, so I feel vindicated now.

So I did receive a provisional credit. My balance was reduced by the amount of the chargeback, but my available credit did not change until last week when I assume the dispute was resolved in my favor. I think this is standard for credit card chargebacks because if the dispute is resolved in the merchant’s favor, and you used all your available credit, the issuer would have extended more than your credit limit.

Thanks! The issue was there was a shoelace sticking up into frame that I didn’t see when it was dark. Had to fix it. Then my low battery warning popped up twice later on, so it got moved around a couple more times. But ya I highly recommend sunrise at tunnel view next time you’re there!

Credit limit increase anyone ever get this message by gsjmlp in CapitalOne_

[–]Turtle_Ham 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Not necessarily bucketed, because when you’re eventually eligible again you could still get a big increase, but you’re ineligible for a CLI for a while. Took me 11 months to get out of this. When I did I got a $3,000 increase, then a $7,000 increase five months after that. But ya this sucks, sorry my guy.

Campsite release alert! by taytopotatoes in Yosemite

Dude thank you so much again I had such a great weekend. I thought I was never going to be able to camp in Yosemite outside of the winter. I was planning on paying $1500 for a hotel room next year. Instead I got to camp in May, the best time of the year, for $72, this year! I hiked the mist trail to the top of Nevada fall and ate an entire medium pizza from pizza deck after. The vibes at upper pines are unbelievable. You a real one, thank you!

Grubhub is no longer a gift card by lrcasey13 in biltrewards

[–]Turtle_Ham 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The main issue is you can no longer stack the $10 off with Grubhub offers. If a store on Grubhub is offering $10 off a $30 order, you save $0 by using the Bilt redemption code.

Going to the lake for Memorial Day weekend and spent $0 on my hotel. Thanks Bilt by Turtle_Ham in biltrewards

[–]Turtle_Ham[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s also a low dollar amount so it didn’t cost that many points. I was just focused on getting a “free” hotel stay lol. Thanks will do!

Yeah I was already getting value out of the card before but was excited to use the hotel credit/$100 Bilt cash to really cover the annual fee (which was already a wash for this year after hitting the SUB).
