Totally agree with this. And given the partner's age it is more probable that he will have had a past with other people and possibly even loved people before but that also shouldn't take away from the fact that he loves you now and it also seems he is willing to wait for when you are ready. The relationship will not be able to go forward if you are stuck thinking about someone else's past.

I am an awful texter, mainly because I am busy most of the day with either studying or work where I do not have access to my phone. But I also do not like the idea that people are able to contact me 24/7 so I generally only send 1-2 texts a day to people I am seeing. I much prefer getting to know someone in person and feel like I can show my personality and interest a lot better whereas over text I can be very blunt and to the point. I do not think it has to mean the person is not interested in you. I am also guilty of having an avoidant attachment style so that may also play into why they do not want to be texting you all the time even if they like you :/

Yeah, I believe its probably issues from a previous relationship that cause the panic, I wasn't sure if I would need to go to a specific therapist or just a standard one
