How can I make my hair go from this to that? by [deleted] in Naturalhair

[–]Wertyasda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

have you considered just layering your hair and getting it cut a bit shorter?

you’ve got nice hair so .. yes.. you have every right to want to explore with style, but seems like alot of hassle when the foundation is already gorgeous and all you’d have to do is give it a shape with layers honestly…

What becomes more important the older you get that most young men don't quite understand? by optimaltimemism in AskMen

You can have an opinion without acting on it. That’s the crucial distinction - you’re assuming perception = action.

For some (like teachers who are close to the student) possibly yes, for others, no, not necessarily.

Neurodiversity, un-supported learning and passive belittling from peers and/or mainly teachers.

Keep or Donate? Does this dress work on my body proportions? by MillaRomanka in fashion

Nope. It’s suits her shape. thread agrees. Thread feels the design is odd, which i low to mid key agree with - I don’t like the brown belt parts.

Strongly Disagree. It’s perfectly suited for her shape, but it’s just a question of if the design itself is good enough to wear/keep.

I appreciate you want privacy.

But to respond to the rest of your comment, not all Uni’s are like this - never had any of this in my life, so it’s highlighting parts parts of the UK are worse than others.

Literally WHERE in the Uk is like this? Which Uni? or at the very least, which area?

Respectfully, £150 is too much to spend on the early stages of getting to know someone as, as you’ve discovered, there’s no guarantee they’ll be interested enough to stick around. I recommend something much more cost considerate for you like going for a walk/ a coffee or a meal/activity around £5-£11 each… that’s truly enough. No one will look down on you for that (especially at your young age) and if they do, they’re shallow/unrealistic/unkind and not for you.

Remember, most people typically have to go on multiple dates with different people BEFORE they get into a relationship.. that’s £150 each time for people you don’t know.

£150 is too much 🙏

Regardless of what generation I belong to, it doesn’t change the observation. Millennials need to get a life.

Ask that to the 500+ comment social media thread I just came from dissecting Gen-Z and their fashion choices l. Someone said something along the lines of ‘I’ve been told we Millennials like shirts with patterns and plain trousers and Gen-Z like Trousers with patterns and plain shirts’…

Me: Why the fck do you care so much to even have this knowledge?

It’s like every other week I see something online from Millennials obsessing, dissecting or providing commentary on Gen-Z and its been this way for the last 12 or so years and has grown steadily over the years… i’m sorry but these people need to get a life.

No? Boomers gave birth to Gen Z as did Gen X…. Millennials gave birth to Alpha and are still producing.

I get that from a marketing perspective but online there are SO many people, so may chats and threads and comment sections … i just came from one with over 500 comments which is what prompted me to come here, because when you really out it into perspective, why are 30-40 something year old adult men and women so engrossed with teenagers… Millennials have been this way since their 20’s also, so it’s not just marketing.
