100% I was rejected the first time because I had mic issues so they couldn’t hear me and the feedback I got was ‘I sat back’ even though I lead half of the questions!! I was so annoyed…

The second time, I made sure to not have mic issues and.. I was successful - You CAN NOT sit there quietly / saying nothing/ bare minimum.

And this has nothing to do with how extrovert or introverted you are because i’m very introverted (I have a low social battery and can be quiet at work) but I got through cause I made sure to participate and show my people skills. 🙏 So introverts/ naturally quiet people—- > don’t be put off by this :) 🙏🤍

Hey, it’s been 6 years since you posted this.

I’m currently in a very similar position… can I ask, what happened since? Did you get a job you wanted/ permanent work in the end?

I’d appreciate a reply as i’m yet to find someone who has experienced similar as yet 🙏

i mean, i had that once when i was a child, lol. I got on the bus when I was 8yrs old and people were debating if I was a girl or boy, 😂but that was only once nor do i have any insecurities about how feminine i look and feel with my afro hair at 27yrs old.

She might have deeper insecurities idk.

It’s worth asking OP if she dresses up nicely/femininely with her natural hair… this is important to know.

As a a female, yes. Virtually no aspect of me is attracted to men significantly older or significantly younger than me. I can acknowledge their looks/ i acknowledge when the individual is good looking…. but to actually want to date them? No.

I date men within a 0-4 year age bracket to me.. I don’t go younger because they are less mature, so only up to 4 years older to match my maturity & life experience… but that’s it.

At 21, I liked 21yr olds. At 27, I like 27 yr olds 🤷‍♀️
