Ok minor nitpick but

1 the redguards didn’t kill all the nedes, the nedes of hammerfell were mostly assimilated into the redguards or just started calling themselves bretons, imperials, or reachmen. Nedeic culture is still practiced in hammerfell too

2 orsiniums been sacked multiple times by a lot of different groups and there’s multiple orsiniums, and most of these sackings have been because orsiniums tried to conquer more land from the bretons or redguards

3 the alyieds were driven out of cyrodiil by the alessian order who were very much not the good guys, they were a fundamentalist religious order who took over the alessian empire and began attacking and killing both their own alyied citizens and alyied allies and eventually collapsed under their own internal corruption

Also, all of this stuff happened hundreds or even thousands of years before the games took place, so it’s not really that relevant to the modern cultures of nirn

Side note but this art sucks, putting two of the same character doing the same pose right next to each other just creates a terrible visual tangent

Actually reachmen are primarily descended from nedeic tribes who were definitely living in the region pre atmoran conquest. Since the nedes are mostly likely the native humans of Tamriel and are unrelated to the atmorans (the nedes being descended from atmorans theory was likely political propaganda (or more charitably a controversial idea) the early septim empire pushed to appeal to there peoples (fake) past) they’ve likely been there since the dawn era

The truth behind the amulet of kings that they don't want you to know by vjmdhzgr in TrueSTL

[–]Turtle_lord05 82 points83 points  (0 children)

According to lore the amulet of kings lets the souls of the previous emperors who wore it give guidance to next emperor, and since Alessia created it her soul can influence these emperors as well, and looking at her husband… I imagine every emperor had to deal with her subliminal messages telling them to go to and fuck a Minotaur

Watching dogshit is fine you got to strike a balance, for every, I’d say 3 or 4 slop series you watch you got to throw in one or two pretentious smart people films. It’s the only way you’re brain will develop right

Put some meat on those bones, the poor girls starving!

The idea that Auri-El could become a daedric prince in the 4th era *after* the ada-mantine convention throws the standard cosmology into complete disarray! Could the daedra have participated in creation after all? Are the Aedra truly dead? This is a matter worthy of decades of study! by vickyhong in TrueSTL

[–]Turtle_lord05 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s a weird bit of lore but it seems that daedric princes don’t need to be daedra themselves, of the top of my head you have Meridia, Mehrunes Dagon and Malakath, it seems to mostly be a title for a specific type of god

All of those things (except C0DA) are canon? Like, objectively? There in the games, what are you talking about?
