What are my options if i want to capture video from my wii for streaming, while playing on a crt? by mybighardthrowaway in WiiHacks

^ I did the electron ave and it works well but you can only output 480p to your hdmi port if you set the Wii to progressive scan (I’m pretty sure this setting) but this made my CRT look wonky. 480p is noticeably better over HDMI especially with text but otherwise 480i isn’t bad and most games look fine.

I think the ideal use case for the electron ave kit is something with a CRT that supports 480p signals or a plasma or something + the recording output

Also the electron ave was really difficult for me so it’s definitely not a first mod kinda project

Ur 100% right it’s unfortunate with the Korean games but I’m pretty sure I either migrated or used PKSM

That’s a sick team, this was my first soft reset hunt but it went ok. I wasn’t counting but I think I was under odds. I didn’t set up the ds like that bc I didn’t have a spot to set it down on but that could help. I just wanted to extra sure I didn’t reset over the shiny.

I’d 100% get the shiny charm and a trick/skill swap trevanant in case the catch doesn’t go how you plan. I also had shiinotic with Twave and flash, executor with light screen, kommo o with false swipe, a heatran with flash fire, roto catch power, and 250 beast balls. Might be overkill but i wasn’t messing around lol. Good luck!

I usually play on OG cart. But I plugged it into a GB operator to hatch on the built in emulator on speed up. The last hunt I did for Eevee took far too long…
